What goes into a final settlement

Worked example
Basic salary AED 5,000, total salary AED 8,000, exactly 4 years of service, 10 days of unused leave, 15 days of salary not yet paid and an AED 1,000 advance:
- Gratuity: 4 × 21 = 84 days × AED 166.67 = AED 14,000
- Unused leave: 10 × AED 166.67 = AED 1,666.67
- Unpaid salary: 15 × AED 266.67 = AED 4,000
- Less advance: AED 1,000
Final settlement: AED 18,666.67.
