Worked example

You joined on 1 March 2024 and count up to 1 October 2026: 2 years and 7 months of service. You have earned 2 × 30 = 60 days, plus 7 × 2.5 = 17.5 days, so 77.5 days. If you have taken 20 days, your balance is 57.5 days, subject to any limit on carrying leave forward.
