Use the UAE gratuity calculatorHow to read the table
Find your basic salary on the left and your full years of service along the top. For example, AED 6,000 basic and 7 years: (105 + 60) days × 6,000 ÷ 30 = AED 33,000. Only basic salary counts; housing, transport and other allowances are left out.
Gratuity is one part of what you are owed when you leave. For the full amount, including unused leave, unpaid salary and notice pay, use the UAE final settlement calculator.
Who this applies to
Foreign employees in the UAE private sector under the federal Labour Law, in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates, including most free zones. DIFC and ADGM have their own laws. If your employer uses the approved end of service savings scheme, your benefit depends on that scheme.
